About me

My name is Christina Hotowy and I am a certified Hara Shiatsu Practitioner, Human Design Reader and Yoga Teacher. During my studies, I worked in gastronomy and hospitality and spent ten years as an executive assistant in a large consulting firm. Prior to that, I lived in the USA for a year, taking care of three children as an au pair. I had the opportunity to try many things and interact with many different people and cultures, which made me more adaptable and even more interested in people.

I can vividly remember my information day at the Hara Shiatsu Academy, where we started with a short meditation followed by a yoga session, and then we were shown some basic Shiatsu techniques. I was immediatly captivated and knew that I wanted to pursue this training. The journey over these three years was intense, personally challenging, and demanding, but also incredibly educational and enriching in many ways. I am very excited about this new path and confident that physical touch and human connection will play an even more important role in the future.

My approach to shiatsu

I am fascinated and enthusiastic about working with people, and I find it very exciting to be able to customize my treatment techniques to each individual. Each of us has out own personal story, and I am interested in your perspective to truly understand what needs to change. My goal is for my clients to feel better overall after a treatment than before. I am looking forward to working with you!
